The Skye & Lochalsh Reduce Reuse Recycle (RRR)  Collaboration brings together community groups that support the vision and aims of the Collaboration.

By being an active member of the Collaboration, you will be part of a growing network united by a shared commitment to reducing waste, increasing opportunities for reuse and repair, and strengthening the circular economy here in Skye & Lochalsh. 

​​Why Join the Collaboration?

  • Exchange Skills, Knowledge and Experience - pooling knowledge and helping each other, strengthening existing Third Sector partnership working and cross sector understanding, increasing effectiveness and sustainability of existing circular economy activities.

  • Improve communication & public awareness and support increased public adoption of sustainable circular economy choices. Amplifying local voices to reduce waste, maximise material reuse, and streamline recycling efforts across sectors.

  • Coordinate community action – mapping existing local circular economy services, highlighting gaps and seeking solutions for improvement, as well as identifying and jointly tackling shared challenges. 

  • Develop and support new collaborative project(s) in response to identified need and in alignment with local strategic plans as well as regional and national plans

 

Members are encouraged to actively participate in the Collaboration by:


•    Attending meetings and events.
•    Taking part in research, learning, consultation and engagement activities.
•    Joining working groups where relevant.
•    Contributing to the development and delivery of collaborative projects.
•    Sharing knowledge, experience and good practice with other members.
