The Skye and Lochalsh Community Wellbeing and Support Forum brings together local groups and partners to share ideas, develop projects, and shape community wellbeing and social care.
The forum rotates its focus monthly across the three areas, Adult Services, Children's and Young Peoples services and Community Hub Services.

The Community Forums were established in response to local engagement that identified a need for a shared platform to support joint planning, improve service coordination, and ensure voices from rural communities are heard and acted upon.
The Forums bring together third and public sector partners to share and celebrate local activity, identify emerging community needs, and co-design services, They encourage collaboration, amplify rural voices, strengthen resilience, support funding , and improve engagement between sectors.T

Ideas and proposals generated through the forums—particularly those that reflect high levels of need or innovation—will be passed to the Skye and Lochalsh HWWS Steering Group for review as part of the Skye & Lochalsh Caring Communities Delivery Programme. Where priorities are identified, resources will be secured to support feasibility studies, business case development, and project planning. This process will be supported by SLCVO with a focus on creating strong, inclusive, and sustainable partnership-based models.
