Third Sector Networks
Skye, Lochalsh, Wester Ross
SLCVO's third sector networks bring groups together keeping them up to date with funders, events & training, best practice and local news
What are the Third Sector Networks?
To better connect the third sector in Skye, Raasay, Lochalsh and Wester Ross and support third sector participation in local, regional and national community planning and co-production processes, SLCVO have set-up two third sector networks based on Highland Council Ward areas - Skye & Raasay and Lochalsh & Wester Ross
These networks will:
-
Connect third sector groups in geographical areas to identify and facilitate opportunities for collaboration, networking and learning
-
Be a pathway for local input into the HTSI third sector representation pathways
-
Provide information about regulatory change and guidance
-
Identify and develop local capacity building initiatives
The networks will initially be virtual while we build membership. There will be a monthly bulletin containing information about funders, events & training, updates on best practice and local news. as well as opportunities to meet and network with groups in your area.
To sign-up to your local network and our monthly bulletin please email thirdsectorsupport@slcvo.org.uk
