The Saltire Awards
The Saltire Awards are the Scottish Governments national youth volunteer awards. They celebrate, recognise and reward the commitment, contribution and achievements of young volunteers in Scotland, aged between 12 and 25. Skye and Lochalsh CVO administer the Saltire Awards for the Highland Third Sector Interface in Skye, Lochalsh and Wester Ross.

Volunteers’ Week is a UK wide campaign that takes place from 1-7 June every year. It’s a time when volunteering involving organisations are encouraged to thank and celebrate their volunteers, past and present. The Volunteers’ Week campaign started in 1984 and Volunteer Scotland lead the campaign in Scotland.
Skye and Lochalsh CVO run Volunteers Week celebration events across Skye, Lochalsh and Wester Ross and help groups say thank you by providing Volunteers Week certificates.
