The Blackwood Foundation and Capability Scotland are coming to Skye on Tuesday August 31st to run a workshop to talk to disabled people about design and technology and find out what works for you at home.

Lochalsh Trails Club puts on the annual 30 mile walk in the Glenelg area 'Lochalsh Dirty 30'. As a result of a successful event this year, they are offering £550 (10% of the entry fees) towards suitable projects/groups within Lochalsh.

Highland Carers Advocacy - Supporting Carers in Skye & Lochalsh
Highland Carers Advocacy provides a free service to support carers to express their views and opinions so that carers can positively influence their circumstances.

Ross-shire Women’s Aid are currently looking for women who live or work in Ross-shire, Skye and Lochalsh who would like to show their support for what we do to become members of our organisation.
The British Red Cross can arrange first aid courses for vulnerable people. Courses are free of charge but the trainers travel expenses from Dingwall need to be paid at 40p per mile, unless a course is tied in with other training.
