They will do this by providing planning advice, as well as embedding knowledge of the planning system in communities in order to help future developments. Examples of the types of developments they could assist with could include renewable energy schemes, community woodlands, community hall projects, amongst many others.
They are looking for projects at various stages of the planning process, from groups with just a vague idea of a development to groups ready to make an application. Although this scheme is for only 12 community projects, it is important for them to generate as much interest as possible, as hopefully the scheme can then continue on a larger scale.
