The Highland Council is funding a series of events for young people aged 14-18 in Skye during the winter. These are being organised mainly by the Youth Development Officer, Active Schools Co-ordinator and Portree High School Leisure Manager in partnership with youth workers, pool staff, volunteers and other youth organisations.

 

Dates for forthcoming events (in the Fingal Centre Portree, unless otherwise advertised) are:

Friday 22nd Jan 2010 from 3.30pm – drumming and capoeira workshops followed by a performance

Friday 12th Feb 2010 (mid-term weekend) from 3.30pm – activity to be confirmed

Friday 5th March from 3.30pm – possible health fayre

Saturday 20th March 2010 – culture event and evening disco/dance
