For boys and girls aged 9-18 years

After our very successful first summer school last year SkyeDance invites you to take part in our second week long summer school for young people, boys & girls, aged 9-18.  It is the first established summer school exclusively for dance to take place in Skye and we hope that you will be able to join us!

A great opportunity for young people to

• immerse themselves in dance
• develop their skills
• and have fun!

All you need to take part is plenty of enthusiasm!

Last year we fused modern styles with Scottish traditional styles which proved very popular so we will continue the fusion this year but also include lots of new styles as well from some of the best tutors around.  Participants will have the opportunity to try out; street & breaking, contemporary, musical theatre, Scottish traditional dance, jazz etc.

We will again be working towards a performance at the end of the week that will showcase all of the participants hard work.

There will also be a chance for the adults to bust a few moves.  We will be running adult workshops in the evening in conjunction with the summer school.  So keep an eye on our website for updates nearer the time.
