Women@Work present an informative workshop with Heather Williams (Manager) and Lesley Jagger (Outreach Worker Skye & Lochalsh) from Ross-shire Women’s Aid.
During the evening you will be encouraged to looking at the different ways in which females and males are portrayed in today’s media and to identify the messages given by these. There will be a lively discussion about the impact of these images on people’s own self- image - especially for young women and girls - and what this could mean for the future.
The workshop will also consider what action can be taken to address this.
6.30pm for 7pm – 9pm Tigh Lisigarry, Bridge Road, Portree
The event is free and refreshments will be available for £3.00 Booking essential.
