An introduction to the social care system and sources of support for unpaid carers.
Navigating the System is a short session designed to help carers to understand how services work, what sort of support is available to them and how to go about accessing support and services.
Topics covered include:
- The way that services are delivered
- The work of Social Work Services
- The work of the NHS
- The work of the voluntary sector
This session is FREE to all unpaid carers and travel and alternative carers expenses will be offered.
The session runs from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm |
